Enjoying wonderfully warm and dry weather, more than 400 Scouts and adult leaders celebrated the Colonial District's first camporee. The camporee was held at Mountain View Campground near Haymarket, Virginia, with tents pitched in woods atop a rolling hill and programs held on a field that sloped gently down to Silver Lake. A full day of activities on Saturday gave Scouts a diverse range of fun and rewarding experiences.
